PROJECT HUSTLE (AMAZON-GYR2)

A. Description of Project

Kinkaid is the wastewater installation subcontractor for Project Hustle in Goodyear, Arizona. This project is for the new Amazon distribution center and Kinkaid was contracted by Willmeng Construction to perform the site utilities, concrete flatwork, demolition, earthwork, sanitary sewer and lift station. Kinkaid is performing with design assist due to the complex nature of the sanitary installation where depths exceeded 25 feet. This negotiated on-going contract package includes work on Indian School Road, Cotton Lane, Citrus Road, and a newly constructed road called Minnezona. The total package will be upwards of $15 million. The sanitary scope of work includes a wastewater lift station for the City of Goodyear, 2,500 foot force main, and 5,000 feet of gravity-fed sewer.

Working as a subcontractor for Willmeng Construction, Kinkaid is responsible for multiple contracts which were performed similar to that of a JOC. This approach was used due to intense schedule requirements.
